The Journey...

The Journey
...Is Always the Longest Part."              -Abraham Hicks

It can be really easy to set our sights on a goal or an outcome and forget to enjoy the process of reaching it.  We think that the attainment of the goal is the payoff when really, the best part of setting goals is the person we become in the pursuit of our goals.  Think about it.  The actual reaching of a goal usually lasts only a moment or two.  The process of working toward that goal and evolving into the person who reaches that goal can last weeks, months or even years.   Since it's the longest part of the process, we could have a whole lot more happy in our lives if we thought of the journey as an adventure, as opposed to seeing it as that obstacle standing between us and our goal.  In the context of money, it's like Jim Rohn says:  "Become a millionaire not for the million dollars, but for what it will make of you to achieve it."

Here is the question:

How could you begin enjoying your journey toward a current goal?
