Even if You're on the Right Track

You'll Get Run Over if You Just Sit There.

-Will Rogers

We all have the best of intentions when we start a new project. We have lots of enthusiasm, especially when we think about how great the finished product will be. But then reality sets in. You get busy and the project sits dormant. Or maybe you actually did get started but then hit a roadblock and walked away. The secret to being successful in any endeavor is consistent forward progress that we feel good about. Even if your step consists of making a note of who to call next or simply gathering the supplies that you'll need next, that is enough. Some days we can make lots of progress and other days we make barely any.  It's all part of the process. If we can be patient with ourselves by accepting that fact, our lives will be happier and easier. No one operates at 100% all of the time. Be kind to yourself even on your less productive days.

Here's the Question:

What is a step (maybe even a tiny one) you can take and feel good about on a stalled project?
